My Bachelors Degree
By getting a Bachelors degree in science or (BS), i will be able to use some of the knowledge gained towards getting into dental school. The Bachelors of Science degree will include a plethora of science credits. All these science credits will help me in dental school seeing that the first two years of schooling are mainly didactic. However in order to get into dental school one must meet the educational standards as well as have at least 100 hours of experience in a dental office. Fortunately for me I have access to my dads office where I will be able to work as a dental assistant and log in my hours. The margin for being accepted to dental school is growing ever so smaller each year while expectancy of the applicants to perform is growing. In order to be excepted into Dental school the student must take the Dental Admissions Test or DAT. The DAT is a standardized test which is based on a students knowledge of natural sciences, perceptual ability, reading comprehension, and quantitative reasoning. Dental school regularly takes a student 4-5 years to complete with all the training that is required.
