Chosen Career

The career I chose is Dentistry.  The reason I chose dentistry over business was because of the daily gratifications that it holds, there would be nothing greater than to be able to help alleviate the problems of the general public day in and day out.  While a great percentage of people in the world will go on to work in a cubicle for hours everyday, going to work to help people sounds much more appealing.  My dad has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years and has enjoyed everyday since. Dentists diagnose and treat problems with patients teeth by adding fillings, crowns, etc. As well as working on the gums and other parts of the mouth.  They provide advice and instruction on taking care of your teeth and gums and on dietary choices that affect oral health; as well as provide surgical operations if needed.  Where I would be working if I were to choose to become a dentist would be in one of my dads practices in the metro Detroit area.
